One Iconic Moment For Every Year Of The Undertaker's WWE Career
11. 2010 - Career Vs. Streak
And, one year later, they did it all over again.
Still reeling from his loss to The Phenom, Shawn Michaels went to every length to get himself a 'Mania rematch.
After failing to win the 2010 Royal Rumble, Michaels cost The Undertaker his world championship at Elimination Chamber and, in doing so, got The Deadman's attention. He finally accepted HBK's challenge on the condition that, if the Sexy Boy lost, his career would be over.
With retribution (not that one) on his mind, Michaels accepted and this high stakes match was on.
'Taker and Michaels closed out WrestleMania XXVI in dramatic fashion with fans unsure of which way the show would end. Unfortunately for fans of the double Hall of Famer, it ended with an emphatic Tombstone and The Streak being extended to 18-0.
The Heartbreak Kid didn't break The Streak, but instead had his career laid to rest.
It was a beautiful send-off to one of the all-time greats and the culmination of an incredible rivalry between two men both worthy of a spot on wrestling's Mount Rushmore.
It absolutely deserved to headline the show and we will never see a match with stars of this calibre in it again...
... unless it's in Saudi Arabia.
