One Iconic Moment For Every Year Of The Undertaker's WWE Career

10. 2011 - Face-to-Face With The King

Throughout early 2011, a series of creepy vignettes played on WWE TV.

They showed a mysterious man dressed in all black and the date "2-21-11". Speculation was rampant that the mystery figure was Sting, whose contract with TNA was up. Sadly, these rumours didn't come to pass, but the actual reveal didn't leave fans disappointed.

21 February 2011 rolled around and the mystery man was revealed to be The Undertaker, who made his first appearance in WWE that year, walking down to the ring to the tune of Johnny Cash's "Ain't No Grave".

However, The Deadman wasn't the only man who made his return on this night.

Before 'Taker's music had even finished, the heavy chords of Motorhead's "The Game" rang out around the arena. Out came Triple H, making his first appearance in WWE for over ten months.

The Game entered the ring and stared 'Taker down. Then, the two icons looked up at the WrestleMania sign. Without saying a word, WrestleMania XXVII had a new marquee match.

Fans had all the context they needed for this one - 'Taker had retired Triple H's best friend the year before - and this bone-chilling staredown was an absolute clinic in silent storytelling.
