One Iconic Moment For Every Year Of The Undertaker's WWE Career

8. 2013 - Strengthening The Shield

After their impressive debut at the end of 2012, The Shield extended their dominance into the new year.

Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, and Judas Ambrose won their first WrestleMania match, captured their first championships, and got to share the ring with some of the biggest names in pro wrestling.

One of those names was The Undertaker.

The two entities first crossed paths on the Raw after WrestleMania 29. The Hounds of Justice had The Deadman outnumbered before Team Hell No made the save. This led to a six-man tag team match, where The Shield actually got the W over Daniel Bryan and The Brothers of Destruction.

This led to 'Taker competing in his first SmackDown match in three years when he took on Ambrose on 26 April. Despite making the future AEW Champion tap out, 'Taker's celebrations were short-lived as The Hounds set upon their prey in a merciless attack.

After a vicious beatdown, The Shield hoisted 'Taker up and delivered their signature Triple Powerbomb through the announce table.

Dominating a legend like The Undertaker was a huge rub for The Shield and it proved that, despite being massively protected, 'Taker was still willing to put over younger talent.
