One Iconic Moment For Every Year Of The Undertaker's WWE Career

9. 2012 - End Of An Era

In the final installment of The Undertaker vs. DX storyline, all three men shared the ring for a half-hour long spectacle in 2012.

Despite beating Triple H the year before, Undertaker was out for revenge. Triple H had left the ring under his own power, whilst 'Taker was stretchered out.

After weeks of refusal, The Game was finally goaded into facing 'Taker again. Only this time, it would be inside Hell in a Cell, a match type that both men had dominated in throughout their careers. Furthermore, the special guest referee in this match was none other than Shawn Michaels. Safe to say this match was stacked.

After a brutal back and forth and the single best kickout in WWE history (where 'Taker kicks out of Sweet Chin Music and a Pedigree), Undertaker finally scored a decisive victory over Triple H when Shawn Michaels begrudgingly counted to three after a final Tombstone.

Once the match had ended, the legends embraced at the top of the ramp. They knew that they had just put on a truly special match and the fans agreed, cheering all of them to the back.

It was, truly, the End of an Era...

... until Saudi Arabia.

Goddammit.
