Undertaking isn't known as the jolliest of professions, so it's perhaps no surprise that ours spent the first portion of his WWF run as a villain.

That was, until 1992.

Jake "The Snake" Roberts had been feuding with "Macho Man" Randy Savage through 1991 and this rivalry reached boiling point at SummerSlam, where The Snake attacked Savage and his new bride, Miss Elizabeth, shortly after their wedding.

Also involved in this assault was 'Taker. He was instrumental in the beatdown of Savage, including delivering a strike to Macho's dome with his iconic urn.

The two baddies continued to terrorise Savage and Elizabeth well into 1992. However, following Roberts' match with Savage in February of that year, things began to change.

The Snake hid in gorilla position, steel chair in hand, ready to strike Savage as he came through the curtain. However, in the nick of time, the first couple of wrestling were saved when The Deadman prevented Roberts' sickening attack.

Shortly thereafter, Roberts would ask 'Taker whose side he was on, to which he would give the now-legendary response, "Not yours!".

This turned The Undertaker face for the first time, leading to an entirely new phase in his career and his second WrestleMania victory.
