One MIND-BLOWING Secret From Every Year Of WWE History

8. 2017 - Cody Rhodes Predicted The Future

WWE's Deepest Secrets Vince McMahon
AEW

The AEW Vs. WWE war is completely out of control and will only get uglier. At time of writing, weeks after Paul Levesque accused Will Ospreay of fearing the grind, Tony Khan compared WWE as an entity to Harvey Weinstein.

What next: will Levesque say Okada is overrated and he was right to overlook him, only for Khan to reply that Triple H has a history of overlooking things - like Vince McMahon’s history of sexual misconduct!

2024 is set to be wild, but in a warped way, the AEW Vs. WWE war started two years before AEW existed. It was always destined to go this way.

In late 2017, the Elite “invaded” Raw in a daft publicity stunt filmed for Being The Elite. It was good for their brand to appear more popular in WWE’s backyard than WWE itself. God, a lot has happened in seven years. WWE fans actually like WWE, for one.

Jimmy Jacobs, a friend of the Young Bucks, worked as a creative writer for WWE at the time. He took a photo with them, which was uploaded to Instagram. He was let go as a result. In a premonition, as recounted by the Young Bucks in their autobiography, Cody turned to them and said: “You realise we’re at war with them, right?”

Cody probably didn’t know how right he was.
