24. 2000 - The Rock Vs Triple H, Judgment Day

Triple H and The Rock had something to prove when they were booked to go an hour at WWE's pre-TV rights commercial peak.

The pair had co-headlined an era alongside Mick Foley during a time ostensibly robbed of its top star. When Steve Austin was shelved in late-1999, opportunity knocked and all three burst through the door. But some felt the kudos extended to their in-ring was being overstated due to how hot the product was. For 60 minutes, they proved otherwise.

A host of falls separated it from the dry Bret Hart/Shawn Michaels original four years earlier, and The Undertaker's return as the American Bad Ass might still be the best screwy finish ever. Hunter won the belt back from 'The Great One' on a disqualification after an hour and fans still breathlessly begged for more. It was the business of the era defined by the two men best placed to do it.
