6. Divas Championship Match - AJ Lee vs. Stephanie McMahon

With all due respect to Paige and the Bella Twins, both of whom have become major parts of the Divas division, there is exactly one big money match WWE could produce out of its current crop of Divas, at least the way things are right now, and that is AJ Lee vs. Stephanie McMahon. With or without the title on the line, the match is a draw because of the performers involved. AJ has been the highest profile Divas on the roster for nearly three years now and during that period, has amassed a huge following. Mostly because she can wrestle but also because she is hot, in a nerdy, geeky, Hot Topic way. Stephanie, on the other hand, returned to television as part of The Authority storyline in the summer of 2013 a far more skilled performer than she had been previously. Her command of the audience and her camera presence was significant in her development as an in-ring performer. The women, unlike others on the roster, were portrayed as strong and independent and fans responded accordingly. Just prior to SummerSlam this past August, AJ and Stephanie engaged in a stare down that received a big pop from the WWE Universe. That reaction alone indicates that there is not only money to be made, but memories as well. The fans want to see the match, they want to see the crazed AJ square off with the sly, sneaky, resourceful and despised boss. People care about the characters and thus, want to see them clash. WrestleMania 31 is the perfect setting.
