Predicting 10 WrestleMania 31 Matches Six Months Out

3. The Undertaker vs. Sting

Undertaker Sting Both men wear black, stalk to the ring and intimidate opponents well before the bell has rung. Both became industry icons, the performers most readily associated with their respective companies. The Undertaker was the face of WWE, its most loyal and its most enduring character. Sting, the same for WCW. Even more impressively on the part of the Stinger was the fact that, through the years, he resisted Vince McMahon's numerous offers to join his company, instead staying loyal to Ted Turner's promotion or helping to build Total Nonstop Action Wrestling from the ground up. On the July 14 episode of Monday Night Raw, however, Sting officially made his WWE debut as part of an awesome video package hyping his debut in the WWE 2K15 video game. Shortly thereafter, he joined some Superstars and legends during a panel discussion for the game and just recently had a DVD released, chronicling some of his greatest and most underrated matches. His new relationship with McMahon's company brings fans one step closer to seeing the dream match they have fantasized about for nearly 20 years. As is the case with Undertaker's potential match against Brock Lesnar, the physical well-being of the Deadman would have to be taken into consideration but luckily for him, a match against Sting, who is actually older than the Phenom, would be sold almost exclusively on the build and hype, not to mention the aura surrounding the two. The match would almost be secondary. As long as they could deliver something even remotely entertaining, it would be considered a success.
