Night Of Champions - Roman Reigns Defeats Triple H

The night after SummerSlam, a furious Lesnar will leave WWE. With no clear challenger to Reigns's WWE Title, Seth Rollins will petition Triple H for a shot at the belt. Triple H will take Rollins's suggestion under advisement, but will tell him that he'll announce a number one contender by the end of the show. Reigns will take on Bray Wyatt in a non-title main event, and he'll score a big win to capitalize on his title victory. Following the bout, though, The Wyatt Family will attack Reigns, ultimately leaving him laying. They'll head to the back, and Triple H will make his way to the ring. Standing over Reigns, he'll announce that he is the new number one contender, then punctuate the news with a Pedigree on the WWE Champion. Reigns and Triple H will battle at Night of Champions, with "The Game" methodically taking Reigns apart. The WWE Champion will come back, though, eventually frustrating Triple H - and the crowd - with his offense. After Reigns kicks out of a Pedigree, Triple H will roll to the outside. When Reigns follows, "The Game" will drill him with a sledgehammer, giving the champion the disqualification victory but keeping the feud going.
