Predicting Every NXT Entrant In WWE Royal Rumble 2020
3. Velveteen Dream
It's a crying shame that a back injury meant a worker as talented as the Velveteen Dream missed the Survivor Series showcase for NXT, as that storyline put a lot of talent in The Dream's spotlight. Even the War Games match against The Undisputed Era who'd, in storyline, put him on the shelf wasn't enough to bring him back. But The Dream has always known how to pick his moments, both in the ring and out, and the Royal Rumble is the match where surprise returns make the most impact.
Expect this future main roster star (unless Vince sees him as the new Goldust) to show up in the early to mid-teens, riding his new couch out onto the stage and sauntering down to the ring at his own pace while the NXT portion of the crowd pops to see him back. If there's anyone from the Undisputed Era in the ring, he'll be the one to take them out, before facing off against Aleister Black in a rehash of their previous feud.
