GUNTHER will win the Royal Rumble match - in 2025 or beyond.

2024's isn't his for the taking but once more, he'll have a staunch presence in the match, will be in the final four at least, and will have definitively risen to main event status. He'll get his flowers vs. Roman Reigns at Elimination Chamber which, as of late, has accumulated a series of indispensable headliners.

Roman vs. GUNTHER would join that list, GUNTHER giving Reigns his toughest showing to date. His sovereignty will run alongside the defending champion's, each piercing GUNTHER chop will be met with a harrowing Roman Reigns Spear, and after the final toll, GUNTHER's affinity as a top draw will be sturdy, if it hadn't already become so following his immortal Royal Rumble and WrestleMania performances.

'The Ring General' was never going to be the same chest-welting WALTER he was on the independent circuit because WWE's style didn't call for it. That he's maintained largely the same style, however, is an indictment of WWE's belief in him as a top star; think of how many indie stars didn't get to uphold their roots before smearing WWE's use of the Austrian leviathan. He's not beating Roman weeks before 'Mania XL, but he is getting a durable showing.
