Since NXT's reinvention as a developmental show, much praise has been reserved for its showcasing of female talents, who are often an afterthought on the main roster. Each episode has usually featured at least one decent-length women's bout, and many of the performers come with established reputations on the independent wrestling circuit. Paige and Emma are two such performers, and have worked their way up to the main roster in recent months with varying degrees of success. They were pre-empted last year by Summer Rae, whose competence has come on leaps and bounds given that she possessed no wrestling experience before being signed. This has meant that the women's division in NXT has begun to focus almost exclusively on three performers - Bayley, Sasha Banks and Charlotte, all of whom could add to the ever-growing main roster 'Divas' division, despite it possessing more talent than ever (Eva Marie and Rosa Mendes excluded). Banks and Charlotte (the daughter of 'Nature Boy' Ric Flair) have flourished as heels as part of the 'Beautiful Fierce Females' (or BFFs), originally in tandem with Summer Rae, whilst Bayley's fangirl act has won over the hearts of the Full Sail University crowd. Their ascension would inject fresh life into a division that could flounder again once its current storylines peter out, allowing the next wave of NXT signees such as Becky Lynch to move up a rung and allow the process of evolution to begin anew. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uurKpXKBSrw
