Since its inception, the women's tag team ranks have been the absolute worst of all the WWE divisions.

While there have been some strong teams in said division, it's the division itself that's the problem. WWE opted to start a female tag team division at a time when they only really had one or two actual proper tag tandems to call upon.

At present, Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax are once more the Women's Tag Team Champions, and it seems likely that they'll be the champs going into WrestleMania 37. Mixing things up in terms of brands, Raw has Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke as likely challengers, while the Riott Squad pairing of Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan over on SmackDown have recently talked up their aim to win the Women's Tag Team Titles.

One could argue for Lana and Naomi being in this match, yet they seem more likely to miss out this time around.
