Predicting The Future Of Every Released WWE Wrestler

14. Trey Baxter

Keith Lee AEW
WWE.com

Promotion: IMPACT

Why There: Time to go "home" for Mr. Baxter.

Trey worked some fine matches for IMPACT between 2019-2021 before inking that WWE contract. He could do so again if the company are interested in bringing him back for another go-around; this might sound weird to some, but Baxter has a very TNA-ish vibe to him. He reminds one of the classic X Division roster, in other words.

Once his non-compete clause with the E runs out, Baxter could look towards IMPACT as a place to re-establish himself and move on from that brief run under the McMahon banner. Why not? IMPACT would probs let him juggle some indy dates too.
