Predicting The Next 10 Alignment Changes In WWE
1. Randy Orton
As great as RK-Bro have been (and even Randy himself has said it's the most fun he's had in his career), it feels like it's only a matter of time before the Viper reverts back to his villainous self.
As befits a man who has more skull tattoos on his shoulders than bones in his body, Randy Orton is a natural heel. While his partnership with Matt Riddle has been an unexpected delight, it's always felt like the end-game is Randy Orton playing Shawn Michaels to Riddle's Marty Jannetty.
Unlike Jannetty, though, the break-up should do wonders for Riddle's career. Riddle has been showing his main-event level chops over the past few weeks, adding a welcome dose of aggression and seriousness to his character, but it's unlikely he's toppling Roman Reigns anytime soon. Instead, we can see the Original Bro working a program alongside his current friend and mentor to truly cement him as a top-shelf star.
Riddle getting a statement win over the Viper at one of WWE's Big Four PPVs would do wonders for the his career, and could see the former UFC favourite becoming one of the top stars in the company.
Man, who'd have thought we'd have ever written that back in the days Riddle was systematically alienating WWE's main-event talent!
