Predicting The Next 10 First Time Universal Champions
9. Seth Rollins
Seth Rollins has been on the roll of his career lately. 'The Architect' single-handedly turned Raw into 'Monday Night Rollins' after running the gauntlet, and has capitalised on that momentum ever since - winning the Intercontinental Championship at marquee events WrestleMania and SummerSlam, while wrestling some of this year's finest matches.
After his underwhelming heel run as WWE World Heavyweight Champion, the-powers-that-be finally realised Rollins' potential as a top babyface. Ever since then, the creative team has been strategically placing him atop the mid-card - just shy of the main event scene- biding their time before they pull the trigger on another, more successful push.
Though he's currently playing backup to Roman Reigns as part of the reunited Shield, it's only a matter of time until 'The Kingslayer' claims the Universal Championship. In many ways, he is already Raw's top star - the belt would just be the formality needed to make it official.
