Predicting The Next 10 WWE Champions

1. Sami Zayn (SummerSlam 2019)

As the saying goes, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens are “destined to do this forever.”

Their Battleground 2016 match was supposed to be their last, but the duo have met countless times since then, with KO going 4-1 against his greatest rival. Their feud is never going to end, and while there’ll inevitably be periods where the duo are kept apart, their animosity will be continually revisited until one of them retires.

Returning to the storyline would be a great way to carry WWE’s summer program, and deliver on Sami’s long-awaited main event push. Two years is more than enough time for WWE to shake-off the goofball traits that have drifted into his character this year, with the time window giving them plenty of time to tell a story similar to Zayn’s NXT feud with Neville, when he was presented like a true underdog, and his coronation was as euphoric as it was cathartic.

His supporters would prefer to see Zayn crowned long before SummerSlam 2019, of course, but what better way to hand him his first WWE Championship than by toppling his greatest foe on one of the year’s biggest shows?
