Predicting The Next 10 WWE Universal Champions
7. King Corbin Beats Bray Wyatt
'The Fiend' divides opinion, but for the most part, it remains one of the more popular and believable characters in WWE today. So, who else to beat him but King Corbin?
To help erase memories of his previous run with the briefcase, Corbin should win the Money in the Bank Ladder Match, and have an actual long reign with the briefcase in his hand. Using the royalty gimmick to full use, he needs to be surrounded by King Corbin's Court. Shorty G is already there. Add two to three more members, and you're set.
From there, Corbin needs to constantly tease cashing in the briefcase, essentially in the same vein Brock Lesnar did last year. When the moment's right, the court should storm the ring, destroy 'The Fiend' after he's had a dominant run as the top champion for once, and King Corbin seizes the opportunity to become the Universal Champion.
Just imagine the sheer possibilities of Corbin with the top prize around his waist? He's relentlessly booed enough as it is. All it takes is the intro of the king's music to make an audience member go from quiet fan minding their own business to shouting abuse towards him. Having him rub the championship in the faces of fans and wrestlers alike would go a long way.
