Predicting The Next 10 WWE Universal Champions
6. Roman Reigns Beats King Corbin
This is a situation where the Universal Championship would change hands in a multi-man scenario, much like it did with the most recent title change, with Roman Reigns really heeling it up by this stage, still flanked by Paul Heyman. Maybe throw in a tag team to take the brunt of the onslaught, à la Team Angle.
Alongside Corbin and 'The Big Dog', we've got Daniel Bryan and The Miz - more on those two soon. Their rivalry hasn't reignited by this point, but it all begins here, with the former 'American Dragon' and 'The A-Lister' getting into such a personal battle with each other that it takes them out of the equation completely. From there, a spear to the King ends his reign of terror, leading us straight into another.
This is the rivalry where Reigns is the ultra heel. His current reign will no doubt see him begin to establish himself as a true heel. However, it's unlikely he'll reach his peak in the current time period. Ideally, live audiences will have returned, allowing for some intriguing interactions between a heel Reigns and a raucous crowd.
That first meeting post-pandemic between 'The Big Dog' and the fans who've loathed him for years is going to be sensational.
