Predicting The Next 10 WWE Universal Champions
2. Karrion Kross Beats Daniel Bryan
Not all good things can last forever, so Daniel Bryan will eventually have to lose the Universal Championship. Ideally, Bryan's reign would see him give plenty of opportunities to younger guys, who, by this point, will have been built up as credible challengers. The likes of Drew Gulak, Shorty G - who's known as Chad Gable again, for God sake - and, why not, Montez Ford.
That's where Karrion Kross steps in, though.
After dominating NXT, Kross should ambush Bryan at the conclusion of a pay-per-view title defence, signalling his next move towards the blue strap. This doesn't need to be a long fued. With that in mind, the former Impact star should win the championship in his first challenge, which should also be his first 'main roster' match full stop. Please, though, no nasty bumps off the Doomsday Saito. He may be cleared to wrestle, but neck-related bumps from Bryan still send chills through the body.
There's no real need to say this, considering who it is we're talking about, but Kross' reign would last for months, maybe even a full year if WWE want to go all in on the Karrion Kross push. There's something special to be made out of a huge Karrion title reign.
