The story of Tyler Breeze so far in his career is that he's always deserved more than he's been given. During his stint in NXT he was always at the cusp of the main event, even winning a number one contender's spot but never getting his one on one chance. His time on the main roster has been a disaster, as he's been reduced to a pure jobber who has only shown up on TV four times in the year so far. Breeze's character got him over in a big way down in Florida but has failed to do so on the big stage of Raw and Smackdown which will hopefully lead to him being sent back to Full Sail at some point. The crowd will be ecstatic to see him again with the hopes that this is the time for Breeze to really show the people in charge what he's capable of. Tyler's gimmick is heel through and through and it's absolutely perfect for him. The man can be a pure heat machine and what better way to enhance that than giving him the strap following a controversial victory over someone with the stature of Shinsuke Nakamura? This would lead to Nakamura's move up to the main roster while his friend and fellow Japanese competitor renews an old rivalry with the King of Cuteville.
