Predicting The Quality Of All 13 WWE WrestleMania 39 Matches

11. Bianca Belair Vs. Asuka - Raw Women's Title Match

This one is tricky.

Bianca Belair is two-for-two working classic WrestleMania matches. Something about her bombastic style, ability to project all-consuming emotion and awesome, distinctive look just works against a stadium backdrop. She's WWE's version of a big-match luxury player. Sometimes she doesn't turn up for those wet and dreary weeknight fixtures (...as in, most episodes of Monday Night Raw), but she absolutely rules in a major setting.

The build to her match this year has been dire. Asuka is taunting her in embarrassing segments. Asuka is meant to be unsettling, but now that her aura has evaporated, it just comes off as cringe-worthy.

Can they co-exist?!

No.

They're about to have a fight. What a stupid question. What a stupid company.

The build to the Sasha Banks match was similarly bobbins, so the bad storyline probably won't matter. The Becky Lynch story was not special either, with apologies to Brian Gewirtz. The big heat angle saw babyface Bianca gave Becky Lynch a rather fetching New Wave-inspired hairdo.

The difference here is that Asuka has floundered badly in recent years and isn't on the level Banks and Lynch were. This will be good on a technical level, but there's too much working against it.

After WrestleMania 39, the streak...

...is over.
