Predicting Where Every Released WWE Wrestler Will End Up
7. Mojo Rawley
Prediction: NWA
It may surprise you to hear this, but Mojo Rawley is actually a sound wrestler between the ropes. He's got endless bags of charisma, the power of a raging bull, and knows some legitimate sporting stars; not just anybody can call Rob Gronkowski a friend. WWE just didn't know what to ever do with the guy.
That's why the National Wrestling Alliance is the place for Mojo.
As mentioned in the Tucker entry, the promotion currently have a number of beefy boys on their payroll. Not only that, though, but the ability of some of their guys on the microphone is unreal. You can easily listen to a promo from Nick Aldis or Aron Stevens without becoming bored. Mojo wasn't known as a promo guy in WWE, but the personality was always there.
His whole 'stay hyped' schtick benefitted him greatly. Rawley was always flying around the ring with a unique blend of power and speed, bringing the Pounce back to relativity in the wrestling world. It's this sort of in-ring mixture that makes him a perfect fit for the NWA. Have him send The Pope flying across the ring with a Pounce, and you're set.
