Predicting WWE's 10 Champions At The End Of 2018

8. WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship - Authors Of Pain

Akam and Rezar have seemed on the verge of a main roster call-up for an extremely long time. What is left for the Authors of Pain in NXT? Very little, that’s what. Paul Ellering’s men are in a difficult position - the two behemoths are still relatively inexperienced, but they are creatively spent in WWE developmental.

Which show will the former NXT Tag Team Champions find themselves on? Will they be sent to the flagship show on Monday nights, destined to do jobs for thrown-together teams of main event stars? Or are they to go to SmackDown, with its clearly defined tag division but lack of momentum? AoP would be a great fit on either show, but a hunch says the blue brand is for them.

The Usos currently have the SmackDown tag team division on lockdown (complete with embarrassing graphics), but Harper and Rowan may have something to say about that. The Bludgeon Brothers will finally beat the real brothers with the titles on the line, before eventually losing the belts to Akam and Rezar in a battle of the monsters.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
