Predicting WWE's Top 10 Stars In 2020

1. Kevin Owens

WWE should have probably hired Kevin Owens three years earlier than they did (or even more), but he’s quickly made up for lost time and shot to near the top of the promotion faster than anyone could have predicted.

Every role he’s been asked to play he’s delivered in spades. The only role he’s yet to take on in WWE is a babyface, which is something that could bring him his greatest amount of success. Over the years, we’ve seen indy favorites like Daniel Bryan and CM Punk become big stars, and Owens could be the next in that line. It's hard to imagine hardcore fans booing him as a good guy, which will be a refreshing thing to watch.

He can talk, he can deliver great matches and it seems he has the ability to develop a connection with a large portion of the audience. When he’s free to go all-in on trying to win over the audience, he could emerge as the top babyface in WWE.

Out of anyone on the roster right now, Owens just may have the best chance of becoming the true next face of the company. This is one list that he does want to be on.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
