Predicting WWE SummerSlam 2017's Card

Weeks ago, Styles and Gable had a fun match on SmackDown, with Gable showing what he could be capable of as a singles wrestler. Now, with the US title around Styles’ waist again as of this Tuesday, the question becomes who he faces at SummerSlam. The natural inclination is to suspect a rematch with Kevin Owens, but it’s looking more and more like KO’s opponent will be someone else (more on that later).

Thus, that leaves the 'Face That Runs The United States' without an opponent for SummerSlam. Enter Chad Gable, who with the defection of Jason Jordan to RAW, is now a singles competitor. Not only because of their in-ring potential, Gable is a natural opponent for Styles, as he’s now the new up-and-coming singles wrestler on SmackDown. Plus, given his recent interviews in which he seems bitter about Jason Jordan leaving him, it appears as though he's inching toward a heel turn. A program with Styles, the most beloved face in probably the whole company, would do wonders for young Gable’s singles career.
