Predicting WWE's Champions At WrestleMania 34

10. United Kingdom Champion - Pete Dunne

The WWE United Kingdom Championship scene has revolved around just two men since its inception - inaugural champion Tyler Bate and his usurper, Pete Dunne. The Bruiserweight is currently in possession of the gorgeous title belt, and there aren't exactly a bucketload of challengers lining up to dethrone him. Dunne is the odds-on favourite to be champ come 'Mania season.

WWE's foray into the UK has been peculiar to say the least. It is only speculation, but the lack of progress seems to suggest that the move was made purely to hinder potential competition. The rumours continue to circle regarding a future television show, but the negligence throughout 2017 doesn't exactly give cause for optimism.

Pete Dunne will still be WWE United Kingdom Champion by the time WrestleMania 34 comes around, because the only competitor who seems on his level in this company is Tyler Bate. Unless the promotion brings in another big UK star, the status quo is unlikely to change. It would be great to see Dunne defend the title a little more often though.

Born in the middle of Wales in the middle of the 1980's, John can't quite remember when he started watching wrestling but he has a terrible feeling that Dino Bravo was involved. Now living in Prague, John spends most of his time trying to work out how Tomohiro Ishii still stands upright. His favourite wrestler of all time is Dean Malenko, but really it is Repo Man. He is the author of 'An Illustrated History of Slavic Misery', the best book about the Slavic people that you haven't yet read. You can get that and others from www.poshlostbooks.com.
