Predicting WWE's WrestleMania XL Cards 1 Year Out

6. Randy Orton Vs. Matt Riddle

Again, like with Rhea Ripley vs. Bianca Belair, this hinges on just how much patience WWE's writers are willing to show between now-'Mania XL. Here's the thing: Randy Orton has been benched since May 2022, and Matt Riddle also took some time out due to personal problems between December 2022-April 2023.

So, in other words, an RK-Bro reunion on TV would feel fresh again. WWE could easily ride that out for six months or so even if Randy manages to launch his own comeback soon. Alternatively, keep Orton on hiatus until later in the year, then have him come back for some WrestleMania build.

Realistically, Randy would have to be the one turning. RK-Bro's whole thing is his varying levels of tolerance for Riddle's nonsense, so it wouldn't make much sense if Matt suddenly went rogue for the sake of it. Nah, have Orton drop him with a cruel RKO, then go, go, go.

Beating his old partner would be one hell of a showcase for Riddle.
