Predicting WWE's WrestleMania XL Cards 1 Year Out

5. Seth Rollins Vs. MJF

WWE WrestleMania XL 40 Roman Reigns The Rock
WWE/AEW

Ooft!

Naturally, there's a fair amount of wishful thinking about all of this. MJF's AEW contract expires in January 2024, meaning WWE would need to act fast if they wanted his 'Mania match to mean something. Some will point to Cody Rhodes popping up as a surprise at 'Mania to shoot that plan down, but...MJF doesn't have the tenure of someone like Cody.

He'd be a completely fresh face to many in WWE's core audience, so hype would be a real must. Seth Rollins, who has become akin to a gatekeeper for the company and is very-much a veteran now, would be the ideal man to welcome Friedman into the family by putting on a stunner with him at 'Mania.

Yeah, this is a stretch considering MJF is the current AEW World Champion. Professional wrestling in 2023 is f*cking crazy though, so don't go scoffing at ideas like this just yet. Who says 2024 won't be even more bizarre?
