At times the ECW legend seemed to be made of elastic, especially in spectacular reaction to a Tommy Dreamer piledriver, where he popped a good foot or so off the canvas. His selling of one particular RKO was also a shocking moment, after which many people were convinced RVD was legitimately injured. Whereas the normal way to take an RKO involves a wrestler landing flat on his stomach, Van Dam flaunts convention and jackknifes forward to land on the top of his head. It's a sickening spot, one made all the more convincing by his bent-necked position on the canvas afterwards. This one could well be higher on the list, but loses points for perhaps being slightly over-the-top. It's certainly not a way we'd want to see the RKO sold every time, but as a one-off it certainly looks spectacular.
