Randy Orton's 10 Greatest RKO Moments In WWE

3. Rob Van Dam - Raw, May 2007

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bura6hULJXg Speaking of wrestlers who can take amazing bumps, Rob Van Dam must surely be included in this category. At times the ECW legend seemed to be made of elastic, especially in spectacular reaction to a Tommy Dreamer piledriver, where he popped a good foot or so off the canvas. His selling of one particular RKO was also a shocking moment, after which many people were convinced RVD was legitimately injured. Whereas the normal way to take an RKO involves a wrestler landing flat on his stomach, Van Dam flaunts convention and jackknifes forward to land on the top of his head. It's a sickening spot, one made all the more convincing by his bent-necked position on the canvas afterwards. This one could well be higher on the list, but loses points for perhaps being slightly over-the-top. It's certainly not a way we'd want to see the RKO sold every time, but as a one-off it certainly looks spectacular.
