https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWaQ3_GMGkw Orton's 2011 feud with Christian offered something of a career resurgence for both men. Both displayed an undeniable chemistry with one another and built their matches very carefully over the months, often scouting moves they had previously fallen victim to and reversing them. It all began when Randy ended Christian's first ever World Championship title reign just five days after it had begun, pinning him clean on an episode of SmackDown. Although both babyfaces at the time, an embittered Christian would turn heel and face Orton in a match at Money In The Bank (in which the title could change hands via disqualification). Randy lost the title after booting Christian in the groin, enraged at the fact the challenger had spat in his face. His vengeful post-match beatdown is where we find this particular RKO. Moves on the announce table are often wince-inducing, especially when the table doesn't break. These spots are accompanied by an unmistakable crunch, as bodies bounce off the table's unyielding surface and roll to the floor. Orton performs two RKOs on the announce table here, the second demonstrating perhaps the perfect way to sell such a spot. Christian slithers limply to the floor, almost landing back-first on a discarded monitor, the picture of absolute devastation. Thankfully for Orton, he regained the title at the following month's Summerslam Pay Per View, decimating Christian in a no-DQ match.
