Randy Savage's 9 WrestleMania Appearances - Ranked From Worst To Best
7. WrestleMania X: Savage Vs. Crush (Falls Count Anywhere)
From Savage's first WrestleMania appearance, we move to what turned out to be his final one. Randy's last major feud in WWE began in late 1993 when his best friend Crush betrayed him and allied with Mr Fuji, setting up an intense dispute that would culminate in a rare "Falls Count Anywhere" match in Madison Square Garden at WrestleMania X. At a time when street fights and backstage brawls were less commonplace in WWE, it was pretty exciting to see the two wrestlers fighting in the locker room, throwing each other into doors and using whatever they fancied as a weapon. When it was time to go home, Savage memorably struggled for what felt like an eternity to tie Crush upside down in a pulley (even using his teeth at one point to help tie the knot) for a dramatic finish, before all his hard work untied a few seconds later and Crush slumped to the floor. Despite the botched spot (or botched knot), Crush was unable to answer the 60 second count, and The Macho Man celebrated in front of the adoring crowd as his iconic Pomp and Circumstance theme blasted throughout MSG. Who could've predicted that would be the very last time we'd see Randy Savage in a WrestleMania ring? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f858fgw4au0
