Randy Savage's 9 WrestleMania Appearances - Ranked From Worst To Best
6. WrestleMania VI: Savage & Sherri Sensational Sherri Vs. Dusty Rhodes & Sapphire (Mixed Tag Match)
While not on par with his previous more serious outings (which we'll get to later), WrestleMania's first intergender tag match was still highly enjoyable, mostly for the curiosity factor of seeing Sherri and Sapphire lock horns for the first time, while Jesse Ventura ripped Sapphire to shreds on commentary. And let's face it, any time you get the The Madness and The Dream in the same ring, you know you're going to be entertained. This was also the first time we saw the new "Macho King" at a WrestleMania, complete with his crown and scepter and with Sensational "Queen" Sherri by his side. All four participants worked hard, the match building to a climax in which Miss Elizabeth returned as a secret weapon in the corner of Rhodes and Sapphire, helping Sapphire to secure the win for her team. The babyface trio danced to the strains of "The Common Man Boogie" while the defeated and humiliated Savage retreated to the locker room. Definitely not Savage's finest WrestleMania outing, but once again, he did the best with what he was given.
