Ranking 10 Best WWE Raw Episodes Of 2015

9. October 19, 2015

The Highlights: In a last-ditch attempt to boost Raw ratings, which were lower than they had been in close to two decades, WWE called in their usual cast and crew of Legends (and then some) for the October 19 edition. Emanating from Texas, there was no better place to host the return of Stone Cold Steve Austin to Raw for the first time in over four years, as well as Shawn Michaels and Ric Flair. The Undertaker and Brock Lesnar appeared at the start of the show in a hot segment to hype their Hell in a Cell match that Sunday. It wasn't quite the caliber of their epic brawl from over the summer yet enough to satisfy the live crowd. Michaels' back-and-forth with Seth Rollins was also excellent, and who could forget The Shield's one night only reunion? It ended with Rollins walking out on Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, but it was a cool occurrence, nevertheless. The Low Points: Similar to the preceding episode on this list, the two women's matches on this show were glaring issues. Charlotte vs. Brie Bella wasn't awful from an in-ring standpoint, but the crowd sat on their hands. The same could be said for Team Bella vs. Team B.A.D. It was two heel vs. two heels for goodness sake! King Barrett, Rusev, Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler, Neville and Cesaro contested an exciting six-man tag team match, but it was essentially worthless seeing as how a rematch was held days later at the pay-per-view. Meanwhile, WWE made great use of all their available Legends with the exception of Flair, who simply introduced Reigns to the ring and that was it. Then again, that wouldn't be the first (or last) time they'd under-utilize The Nature Boy.
