Ranking 10 Best WWE Raw Episodes Of 2015

7. July 6, 2015

The Highlights: More often than not, WWE can do no wrong in Chicago, and the July 6 edition of Raw in Chicago was no exception. Making his first appearance since being laid out by Seth Rollins and the rest of The Authority two weeks prior, Brock Lesnar was out for revenge and he wasted no time in getting even by destroying the beautiful new Cadillac Rollins gave to J&J Security as a gift. Ax and all, The Beast Incarnate created chaos like only he could in what was a memorable moment in Raw history. That wasn't all, however, as John Cena defended the United States Championship in the main event for the first time ever. Although his U.S. Open Challenge was initially accepted by Kevin Owens, Cesaro kicked him to the curb and proceeded to contest a classic with Cena. In what was the longest Raw match in over eight years, Cesaro took Cena to his absolute limit, but failed in his quest to take home the title. The Low Points: King Barrett's battle with R-Truth should speak for itself. Granted, Barrett finally scored a victory over his adversary, but it was far from the end of their feud, so it was a meaningless match. The latest chapter in the Rusev vs. Dolph Ziggler was as bad as one would expect with the temporary write-off of Dolph Ziggler delaying the conclusion of the feud even further. It was established long before their feud in the fall that Roman Reigns and Sheamus had zero chemistry. They wrestled a rather dull match on this show and it received more time than it should have. To make matters worse, Reigns was ambushed by a Bray Wyatt impostor, whose identity was never revealed.
