3. Brock Lesnar

Who would have thought that a character tweak would turn Brock Lesnar into a rousing success rather than just more of the same as the indestructible monster?

Brock hadn’t been seen in a WWE ring since WrestleMania 36 when he resurfaced at SummerSlam to confront Roman Reigns. He’s had one match – a loss at Crown Jewel – but yet he’s been one of the most entertaining parts of SmackDown recently. Brock has embraced his comedic side, and shockingly, it’s worked really well, especially alongside Sami Zayn.

Of course, because it’s Lesnar, everything automatically is magnified and blown up, because you just know that Brock isn’t going to be some mid-card act or languish on a B-show. He’s going to get a lot of eyeballs and a lot of attention – both from fans and from the writers.

For those reasons alone, we have to rate Brock’s return to WWE pretty highly.
