Ranking 6 Best Randy Orton Matches At WWE Extreme Rules

4. Falls Count Anywhere vs. Kane (2012)

Randy Orton Jack Swagger
WWE

Daddy issues are the setup to this match. After already meeting several times in the ring over the previous months this rivalry got personal when Kane attacked "Cowboy" Bob Orton a few weeks prior. Randy would then give equal retribution when he beat up up Paul Bearer on a later episode of Smackdown.

Kane made good use of their stipulation as they almost immediately go out into the crowd and battled all throughout the sea of people. They kept it moving, giving their extended time out of the ring a real rowdy feeling.

They finally exited the crowd and went backstage. Like most backstage brawls this quieted the people considerably. It wasn't wasted time though because Zack Ryder briefly showed up to pummel the backside of Kane. Remember Zack Ryder? He was fun.

When they finally made it back into the ring there was a series of exciting nearfalls to finish this match. Kane would almost win once with a Chokeslam and sold his frustration after only getting 2 well.

Kane ultimately attempted to finish Orton with a Tombstone Piledriver on a steel chair. Randy would reverse it and instead connect with his RKO for the win. The ending, and this match in general, was really well done and fun to watch. The match quality is fairly high from here on out.
