Ranking 6 Best Randy Orton Matches At WWE Extreme Rules
3. Extreme Rules Match vs. Big Show (2013)
Randy Orton would team up with Big Show (as well as Sheamus) to battle against The Shield at WrestleMania 29. They would lose that match causing Show to be angry with the teammates that he felt let him down during that match. They found themselves crossing paths several times between the Pay-Per-Views which would lead to this Extreme Rules match.
Unlike the previous match on this list that was fought under an Extreme Rules stipulation this match made good use of foreign objects. Big Show at one point sent himself crashing through a ladder propped up on chairs when he tried to splash on Orton who was laid out on it (pictured above). Orton went for an RKO afterward and Show shockingly would kick out.
Randy would connect with an RKO again later in the match, this time dropping Show's head on a steel chair. Orton would opt to punt the big man's skull before going for the cover this time which would score the win for The Viper.
This match was fun and at only around 13 minutes it never felt like it dragged on or was boring. With still two more matches left on this list it is easy to see that Orton's body of work is fairly impressive for this event.
