Nathan Frazer and Axiom dominated the NXT tag division for more than a year, holding the tag titles for nearly 360 days between April 2024 and this April. Their callup to the main roster was a foregone conclusion, and even the most cynical observer would have pegged the duo for success.

Upon debuting on SmackDown in April, Fraxiom went on a mini-tear, winning four straight tag matches before challenging unsuccessfully for the WWE Tag Team Championship in May. That hot start established Frazer and Axiom as one of the more exciting tag teams in the company right out of the gate.

However, the duo has not won a televised tag match since then, losing to the likes of Andrade and Rey Fenix, Melo Don’t Miz, The Vision and #DIY. Frazer and Axiom also have tried their hands at singles stardom, both losing United States Championship open challenges against Ilja Dragunov.

Still, Fraxiom remains one of those tag teams that have been proven to be explosive and kinetic enough to take over the division if they’re able to string together a couple victories. Much like many on this list, their debut year is a mixed bag, leaving them stuck in the middle.
