Ranking All 20 WWE July PPVs - From Worst to Best

15. Great American Bash 2006

This is the show where the card got turned upside down, and many matches had to be changed due to wrestlers being found with €œelevated enzymes in their liver€ as part of Wellness Policy tests, as well as injuries. Of the four heavily promoted matches (Rey Mysterio defending the World Title against King Booker, Batista facing Mark Henry, Undertaker facing Great Khali in a Punjabi Prison match, and Finlay defending the United States title against Bobby Lashley), only one actually took place as advertised. Lashley€™s replacement was William Regal, which led to a heel vs. heel match between Regal and Finlay for the U.S. title. Even though it was a great match, it was devoid of heat because the crowd had little reason to care. Khali€™s replacement was The Big Show, and even though the match was probably better with Show in it than Khali, Undertaker had no beef with Big Show. In the main event, Mysterio lost the World Title to King Booker after Chavo Guerrero turned on him. A major title changed barely salvaged a forgettable, sloppy event.
