In the first couple years of In Your House, they were basically booked like glorified Raws that you had to pay for. There would be one or two big matches, but the rest of the show would be made up with filler. The July PPV in 1996, International Incident, didnt really have anything of consequence going for it. Undertaker was in a huge feud with Mankind, and had just lost to him the previous month at King of the Ring. However, Undertaker faced Goldust and Mankind faced Henry Godwinn. Huh? Side note: this was part of an interesting streak for The Undertaker as he alternated between facing Mankind and Goldust on alternating Pay Per Views. In the first In Your House after Wrestlemania (Good Friends, Better Enemies), he faced Mankind in a main event dark match. The next Pay Per View (Beware of Dog), he faced Goldust in a casket match. Then he faced Mankind at King of the Ring. He faced Goldust again here, then Mankind in the Boiler Room Brawl at Summerslam. Rather than facing Mankind in a rematch, he strangely faced Goldust in a Final Curtain Match at the September PPV, before finally ending the alternating streak by facing Mankind in two straight Pay Per Views in October and November. Elsewhere, Shawn Michaels took the pinfall in the main event six man tag, setting up his title match against Vader at Summerslam. Even though the matches were pretty good on this show, it was completely skippable.
