6. Elimination Chamber (2014)

A mere twelve hours before the launch of WWE Network, the promotion aired its last 'traditional' pay-per-view, tempered by the crowd's vitriol toward Batista, and their frustration at Daniel Bryan falling short of the gold yet again. What's forgotten are a surprisingly-good Intercontinental title bout pitting pre-New Day Big E against Jack Swagger, and a lengthy Chamber match for the WWE title, barely survived by Randy Orton. And there's one other match that is obviously being saved for this next portion. RECOMMENDED MATCH: The Shield vs. The Wyatt Family. Remember how ballistic everybody went when both three-man units came face to face on episodes of Raw preceding the event? The match was even better, in which Seth Rollins broke out as an undeniable star through his tireless insanity.
