A year in which the creative team enjoyed using The Undertaker to take down giants, you can rest assured that match quality was not at the top of WWE's priority list in 1993 - and it showed. As a result, 'Taker spent most of the year locked in a program with Giant Gonzalez that started off rather strong, dragged on far too long and, unfortunately, produced some of the worst matches of his career.
That being said, his alliance with the All-Americans highlighted that the company was finally ready to capitalize on his main-event level draw as a face, and this was imperative in kick-starting his solid WWF Championship program with Yokozuna.
