Ranking All 35 WWE WrestleManias From Worst To Best
14. WrestleMania 26
This is where it starts to get tough to rate the
WrestleManias in the middle, because all of them have positive attributes and
some drawbacks, and really, you could make an argument to shuffle some of them
up or down the rankings by five or seven places and few would disagree.
Case in point, WrestleMania 26, which had the second installment of Shawn Michaels versus Undertaker, John Cena versus Batista, and Chris Jericho versus Edge as the top three matches, all of which delivered. Taker/HBK in particular put a nice coda on Michaels’ career (Crown Jewel 2018 notwithstanding), though it didn’t quite live up to the WrestleMania 25 encounter between the two.
However, Triple H/Sheamus was average, the Legacy implosion was awful, and Jack Swagger won an underwhelming Money in the Bank ladder match. Throw in 10 minutes of nearly crippled Bret Hart “wrestling” Vince McMahon in a “match” that should have lasted 90 seconds and you have plenty of material dragging things down a bit.
Still, this was a pretty good Mania overall.
