Ranking All 35 WWE WrestleManias From Worst To Best

11. WrestleMania 8

Give us a barnburner of a world title match, a hellacious Intercontinental Championship bout, and a shocking return and you’ve got a pretty good PPV, even if nothing else connects.

But WrestleMania 8 gave us our first good Shawn Michaels Mania match (against Tito Santana) in addition to the Ric Flair/Randy Savage world title match and Bret Hart/Roddy Piper IC title contest. Flair was in his glory in goading Savage with the famous “she was mine before she was yours” taunts about Elizabeth, complete with doctored photos. And Hart won back the IC title he lost to The Mountie that Piper then won just days later in what was probably the Rowdy One’s best WWF match.

And having the Ultimate Warrior return to save Hulk Hogan from a beatdown from Sid Justice and Papa Shango was enough to close the PPV on a really high note.

As mentioned before, these are the Manias where you can slide them up or down a couple spots and most people wouldn’t argue, so your mileage may vary with this one.
