12. WrestleMania 31

“The heist of the century.”

Those words should pretty much define WrestleMania 31, as Seth Rollins cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase mid-match during the Brock Lesnar/Roman Reigns main event and pulled off the win, capturing the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in one of the most memorable finishes in history. And the match itself was pretty damn good too.

Throw in a solid Intercontinental Championship ladder match, a good John Cena/Rusev United States Championship match, a surreal nWo versus D-Generation X battle during a Triple H/Sting match, and the WWE “debut” of Ronda Rousey – who was backing up The Rock – and you’ve got a hell of a memorable show.

Sure, Sting got the short end of the sledgehammer, but overall, this was a pretty decent show boosted significantly by the main event.
