A monster during a period in which WWE had to steer away from artificially inflated giants, Yokozuna performed his heel duties well in 1993 and early 1994.

Quicker and more athletic than a man of his size had any right to be, the character stirred up just enough xenophobic emotion to warrant his back-to-back WrestleMania headline spots with Bret Hart, and there remains to this day something magic about his dramatic dominant destruction of Hulk Hogan in between.
