Ranking All 50 WWE World Heavyweight Champions - From Worst To Best
19. Eddie Guerrero
'Latino Heat's victory over Brock Lesnar in February 2004 was one that felt completely out-of-sync with a lifetime of title changes for longterm fans.
Eddie Guerrero wasn't a babyface with the popularity of a Stone Cold Steve Austin or Hulk Hogan, nor a WWE Superstar technician quite akin to Bret Hart or Shawn Michaels, but his place in the middle of all of those seemingly rendered his chances of a championship run virtually nonexistent. That he managed it - and looked so believable as a top guy in a relatively short reign - remains entrenched in company lore as a victory for the "little" guy, despite the obvious mass he carried.
