Ranking All 50 WWE World Heavyweight Champions - From Worst To Best

5. Bret Hart

WWE Champions
WWE.com

If Hulk Hogan was the man that drew a generation of eyes to professional wrestling, Bret Hart was the one to galvanise the scant few that stuck around in his absence.

Hart's matches were exceptional - the best of their kind - and he spent the entirety of his five stints with the title redefining what being WWE Champion even meant. Hogan, Warrior et al were gone forever, but Bret Hart made the title and the organisation feel safe from harm as Vince McMahon continued the search for a box office saviour.
